A list of the status of known problems with current Jolicloud builds and possible workarounds.


===== App Directory & Updating =====

  - **Cancel on install hoses update manager** 
    * **Description:** If 'Cancel' is accidentally clicked on the password pop-up while installing a program, no application can be updated thereafter. A message appears under the Update Manager, "An unknown error has occurred while processing the last action. You can try again or skip this action" [Skip] [Retry]
    * **Workaround:** Not yet found

  - **Kernel upgrade/update, and menus are gone after reboot**
    * **Desctiption:** After upgrading to a new kernel, all icons and menu are gone after rebooting. Noticed with nvidia-driver.
    * **Workaround:** Download nvidia-driver, if you dont have one in your home catalog. You may press Windows-key (if you got one) and launch opera/firefox from the appearing menu, then go to nvidia.com and download. Press Alt+Ctrl+F1 to access fullscreen terminal. Login. Type ' sudo killall gdm ' ..Go to your home catalog. Type:' sudo sh N* ' ..Make sure the driver configures your xorg.conf by agreeing. Then reboot by typing ' sudo reboot '
